We Believe
The Bible is the inspired Word of God.
God the Father created all things by the Word of his
power.
God the Son was crucified, buried, and resurrected
for the salvation of sinners.
God the Holy Spirit, along with the Word of God,
applies this salvation to God’s people from every tribe
and nation.
God calls his Church to grow together in the grace
and knowledge of Jesus Christ, and to proclaim his salvation
to all people.

What is Grace Presbyterian Church?
A Bible-believing church
At Grace we believe that
the Bible is the Word of God. This means we hold fast to
the truths that Scripture teaches: that God created us,
that we fell into sin, that Jesus
Christ came to save us, and that one day he will return
again.
A Reformed church
Our roots run deep. Our heritage
traces back to the practice and teaching of the churches
of the 16th Century Protestant Reformation. Our confession
of faith is the Westminster Standards of the 17th Century:
The Westminster Confession of Faith and the Larger and
Shorter Catechisms.
A Presbyterian church
“Presbyterian” comes from
a Greek word meaning “elder”. Grace is governed by a group
of elders, including the minister, whose primary responsibility
it is to care for the spiritual well-being of her members.
A church of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC)
The OPC is a nation-wide
denomination. The word “orthodox” simply means “straight
thinking” or “straight teaching”, and refers to our commitment
to the historic Christian faith. To find out more about
the OPC, go to www.opc.org.

What is our Purpose?
Jesus commanded his followers
to “make disciples of all nations.” That command constitutes
our basic purpose: to make disciples of Jesus Christ for
the glory of God. This includes:
Worship - God is seeking those who worship him in Spirit
and truth. Our goal is to do this by gathering together
each Lord’s Day (Sunday), by hearing his Word read and
preached, and by responding with praise, thanksgiving,
confession, and prayer. The preaching at Grace is expository
and Christ-centered, and our worship is traditional.
Nurture - Christ’s disciples are growing together in the
knowledge of God and practice of love. We are nurtured
by the faithful preaching and teaching of Scripture, by
the administration of the Lord’s Supper and Baptism, by
frequent fellowship with one another, and by the ongoing
care of the elders.
Prayer - We meet regularly for prayer, believing that God
hears and answers the prayers of his people according to
his will, and that through prayer God builds up his people.
Outreach - We seek to take the good news of the gospel of
Jesus Christ to those in our community, regardless of race,
color, lifestyle, background, or nationality.
Mercy - Jesus showed compassion for those in need. We seek
to do the same for those in need around us, as God gives
us the ability to do so.

Come to me, all who labor
and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my
yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly
in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my
yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(Matthew
11:28-30)
