Saturday, May 28th:

The Women’s Bible study will meet at 8:30
a.m. at the Johnsons’ house this Saturday. Please contact
This coming Lord’s Day, May 29th:

The
adult Sunday School class will
continue its study of “A Call to
Spiritual Reformation – Priorities from Paul and His Prayers”,
by D. A. Carson. We will consider Paul’s prayer for the Philippian church
recorded in Philippians 1:9-11.
-
I will
preach on Colossians 1:15-23
during the morning service. The message will be, “The Image of God.”
-
Instead
of our regular evening service, we will be hosting a joint hymn sing at Grace. The service will begin at 6:00 p.m.,
and will be followed by a salad dinner.

Christ! Please note the following information:
Saturday, May 21st:

The session will meet at the church building at
1:00 p.m. Please contact me know if you have any matters to bring before the
session.
This coming Lord’s Day, May 22nd:
-
The
adult Sunday School class will
continue studying D.A. Carson’s book on prayer, “A Call to Spiritual Reformation –
Priorities from Paul and His Prayers”. In this week’s
study, we will identify several reasons why Christians often do not pray as
faithfully as they ought to, and seek Biblical guidance on how to understand
and overcome these problems.
-
I will
preach on Colossians 1:9-14 during
the morning service. This passage records the content of Paul’s prayer
for the Colossian church. The message will be, “Paul’s Pastoral Prayer.”
-
The evening service begins at 6:00 p.m. Last
week, I began a short series of messages on Psalm
139. I will continue to speak on this magnificent Psalm this week by
focusing on verses 7-12.

to the Colossians. Sunday morning’s sermon will be on Colossians 1:1-8.
